On Easter of 2016, my life changed forever. After my marriage began to fall apart, I started to realize that I had not been building my house on a firm foundation. Everything I thought I knew about love transformed when I surrendered my life to Jesus and started to understand what God's unconditional love was all about. My eyes and ears had been opened to see the work that he was doing. He was fighting for me and all I needed to do was be still (easier said than done).
Fast forward to May of 2020, my health began to fail and none of the doctors could tell me why. I had to rely on his strength to make it through most days both mentally and physically. During that time, I had to make a decision that would cost me my job. Ultimately, the Lord made it clear that he had a plan for me even if it meant giving up a career that I had had for the past eight years.
In October of 2021, I started this business and it never ceases to amaze me what all God has done throughout these last couple of years. I am encouraged every time I get to hear someone else's testimony and I hope to do the same for you all. The truth is we will go through many storms in this life, but we get to choose to build our house on the rock who will withstand even the strongest winds and rain.
Yes, God saved my marriage, but the most important part is that he saved me. Since the start of this year, God has led me to where I needed to go to find answers with my health and I am in the process of healing. One thing I've learned from this year is that no matter how I'm feeling, he still gets the praise and the glory for who he is, what he's done, and what he will do.
